Mr Augustine Addo is a highly accomplished accounting and finance professional with extensive experience in public service, academia, and corporate finance. Holding a Bachelor of Commerce (First Class Honours) and a Master of Business Administration in Accounting (Thesis Option), He is also a distinguished member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG).

Throughout his career, Mr Augustine Addo has served in several key roles, including Assistant Registrar at WAEC, Senior Finance Manager at Ghana Post Company, Brewery Accountant/Business Controller at Ghana Breweries Ltd, and Director/Acting CEO of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana. In academia, he has lectured at prestigious institutions such as the University of Education, Winneba, and serves as an adjunct lecturer at University of Ghana Business School, KNUST Business School, University of Cape Coast, and University of Professional Studies, Accra.

Mr Augustine Addo has made significant contributions to national policy and professional standards through numerous committee and board appointments. Notably, he has served on the Governing Council of ICAG, the Board of the Securities and Exchange Commission, and chaired the Audit Committee of the Ministry of Trade and Industry. He has also played instrumental roles in the development and review of key legislation and frameworks, including the Anti-Money Laundering Bill, Public Financial Management Bill, IPSAS Implementation, and the adoption of IFRS and International Standards on Auditing.

As an author, he has published over six books in Financial Reporting, Corporate Reporting, and Auditing, and presented research papers across West and East Africa, including Ghana, Liberia, Nigeria, and Uganda
